The Eureka Boss SmartVac 4870GZ upright vacuum is one appliance that looks good and has a great price tag. The cleaner has extra features and it tackles pet hair with so much ease. Although some consumers complain that it is quite heavy, this vacuum cleaner will do the job. It has brush on/off options and you can use it on hard surfaces, like wood or the tile floors. You are also able to turn off the rotating brushes on the vacuum head and use it in delicate area rugs.

In order not to excessively clean one area of the carpet, you can also turn off these brushes. One nice feature is the PowerPaw attachment. This mini-turbo is a 5.5-inch brush roll will increases the amount of dirt and dust that you pick up and it is great at cleaning stairs.  It uses a collection bag and comes equipped with a sealed HEPA filter that costs 20 dollars to replace.
